Just Before Sunrise - Nick, Sorin, & Tanek
It was the touch that did it. That, and Sorin's voice, almost made him believe that it was the one true Sorin touching him. He knew it was Nick - he was not an idiot - but he was not entirely sober and he momentarily forgot about his anger and his sadness and his grief and he let himself be comforted by the familiar presence of Sorin.
He slowly turned around, burying his face against Nick's chest and wrapping his arms around him. He closed his eyes and he could almost imagine that he was inhaling Sorin's familiar scent.
The slight boy was trembling, but he wasn't crying. Not yet. "I can't do this without you," he mumbled. "It hurts, every day. I can't... Why did you have to die?"
