Sasha stared wide eyed, affronted, as Davian addressed their teacher and tried to make out like none of this was his fault. All of this was his fault! And to talk about it so openly in the school corridor, like it wasn't a secret; how did Davian even know that Mr Farrowe was aware of Sasha's status as a half demon?
He had to do something. Every time they butted heads Davian got away without punishment and it had to stop. Someone had to believe him, right?
Outrage burned behind his eyes as Sasha turned towards the demon, jabbing two slim, manicured fingers into Davian's sternum. "That's bullshit! Everything you just said was a lie! When I first started here you told me you were a demon lord, and you didn't even know what I was until your brother told you!" the half demon hissed. "You did set my clothes on fire and you are beneath me; demons don't give ranks to traitors." Sasha's fangs were visible when he spoke and his deep brown eyes were showing their true dark red colouring.
Turning from Davian, Sasha looked up at Mr Farrowe. "He pulled my tail in class. Demons do it to other younger demons they outrank, even though Davian doesn't outrank anyone. He did it as an insult because he knows it goes against hierarchy and because I can't tell anyone and because nobody knows demon rules except us."
