"He's strong," Mike muttered, "And it's not like I'm a towering linebacker." His father was that, and Mike often felt reminded of that when he felt sports or kids shoved him into a locker. Van hadn't been gentle about it and Mike at first thought he could've had a broken arm. But the pain eventually subsided and he would just bruise.
He shrugged, "I thought maybe this school would be different. And I didn't know he was going to do that. I thought it was funny. I . . . took it a little far." He didn't have to completely remove Van's name from the list but doing that was something GetRekt would've done. He was living up to his persona not . . .
"I'll know better in the future," Mike grumbled, "I heard that the werewolf kids push people around too. They're like a pack of jock assholes. So much for being the X-Mansion."
