She arched a brow at his use of the 'L' word. Rumors circulated of Demons and love, but it was more stories of caution or rumors to defame someone. Kerr, herself, never gave it much thought. Attraction and lust, or intense curiosity was one thing, but love was something she doubted she would ever feel first hand.
"Very true. 'Cool' is the wrong word. Humans who don't drive me nuts but are still manipulative." She ran her hand through her hair with a reminiscent smile. "Like the guys I hung with in London. Bought me drinks, sort of worshiped me without being clingy. They were smart, but still prone to moments of jealous rage." It was almost as if she could feed off the memory, she couldn't of course. Kerr sighed, "Right now all I can seem to attract are ignorant kids or people with waaaay to much pep." There was also that one judgy girl who joined her for lunch the one day. "And I keep 'em around to piss of my folks.... and entertainment."
Gesturing to the scene before them as the standard approached the expert who was clearly out of his league. "How long do you think till he crashes and burns?"
