Chaos Fire: Aktamun & Gilderoi
Egged on by his buddies, Aktamun stepped forward. There was a huge grin on his face. Though he had only two beers, the boy was still a veritable lightweight, not being used to liquor.
He was a bit unsteady on his feet as he made his way to the campfire. Show us what you can do, Aktamun. The Egyptian rolled up the sleeves of his red shirt, closed his eyes and focused on the now empty beer can in his hand. The world seemed to slow down as he muttered a whispered prayer to his god.
The can gained a particular, oily sheen. Aktamun opened his eyes, took a breath, and threw the can into the fire.
The results were glorious. The flames rose up high to the starry sky, causing most everyone around the fire to step back, and then, flames in different colors started dancing above the fire. A vivid orange jackal attacked a bright indigo hawk, a vivid aquamarine crocodile chased after a vermilion, long-legged ibis. Aktamun looked up with a proud grin, before turning back to his Standard buddies and giving them a bow.
