Natália and Van
Natália rather enjoyed that reaction. Surprising people like that wasn't something she did often or at all. Maybe for people she was supposed to be friends with but that usually involved her grabbing them in some form to add to the surprise. She ignored the glare Van shot in her direction though and instead observed the revelry of her classmates. The party had been so informative about her classmates. A few. Others still held back. Maybe they were hiding something they thought was taboo or they were just really boring. Some, she suspected, actually fit the latter.
"Sneaking up on people?" Natália asked, moving to join him on his rock perch for now, "Maybe. My date is currently with his betrothed, so I need to entertain myself somehow." No bitterness in her voice at all. Maybe some amusement. Eying the blunt, she asked, "May I?" The supply of marijuana was a plenty but the supplier was elsewhere and she would have to move from the rock.
"What makes a party worse? The company? The entertainment?"
