Natália and Van
Galad was swept away, sort of, by his betrothed. She'd learned about that from others and from Galad. Galad was enjoying a life of bachelorhood prior to an arranged marriage. She knew about arranged marriages. They were pretty common among demons. Networking was a powerful tool and betrothals were useful for securing wealth and solidifying power and influence. Felicity was tall and blond and beautiful, and Natália had shared the same admiring look that Galad had when she arrived.
Now she was on her own and enjoying the view of many a student giving into whatever desires they had requested or someone else did. Natália liked the way Galad thought. The students she expected to be utterly dull gave the responses she thought they would. Others were giving typical answers, but that didn't mean they weren't enjoyable. She rather liked the way the dancers flexed and swayed.
As the date of the party's host, she'd dressed to fit his image but also her own. A little black dress that hugged a figure she had to eat extra carefully to maintain. Dark hair swept over her shoulder with smoky eye makeup and dark red lipstick. The last thing that Natália ever wanted to look was poor or tacky, so she made a point to look neither.
Her eyes caught the silly hair of a little kelpie. His presence surprised her and she made a point to circle around him without him noticing. Natália was quiet over the ground until she was standing next to him, "So boring, isn't it? Absolutely dull. A bunch of stupid people trying too hard to look cool." Natália tilted her head at him wondering if he was as bold or as combative in person as he was online.
