Felicity and Galad
Galad's official date for the night was a new standard in his own house, Natália. She was also one of Galad's new "friends" he was seeking to fill the gaping hole that Gil left behind. Gil was no longer talking to Felicity since she honored the promise she made to Galad about taking him off her project. She and Galad had yet to really talk in depth about the summer and how she felt about it. She had time to think, and thankfully when she was thinking entirely too much on the subject, she focused on her movie. Things for that were going well and she would be emailing people the next day about roles. She had hoped to find a leading man among the students here but none turned up. Thankfully, someone of great skill had shown up in the town. A local human. Well, humans could be talented from time to time.
Now Felicity wanted to have a word with Galad. She was enjoying the party but she needed to address the subject. She could recognize the party for what it was, so the conversation could unfold here and depending on how that went, they could dive into the party separately or together.
"Going to take him for a few moments," she said to the Brazilian standard with a smile after placing her hand on Galad's shoulder, "I'm sure you can find someone to entertain you for a bit." She made sure to let one of her nails gently scritch behind Galad's ear. He hand then went down, taking his and leading him away. They drifted away from the kaleidoscopic firelight. The colors and the shadows they made still danced on the surface of their skin and clothing but dimly.
"How long are you going to keep lying to yourself?" she asked, not angry or pushing but still seeking answers.
