The Birthday Fairy Appears
Who: Thérèse (narrative, open for reactions from Rafe and his students)
Where: Rafe Farrowe's History classroom (probably the same room as his American history and European history classes)
When: Monday evening after lights out

Thérèse had been in a fairly decent mood lately for a variety of reasons. One of the main things was the fact that she hadn't been feeling that constant reminder of her divorce lately save for someone mentioning his name not long ago in a joke. She had also been working a great deal with Eli, and felt she may have been getting somewhere with her flirtations. Obviously she was still not all that interested in a serious relationship, but rather she was hoping to have a bit of fun with him.

Tonight was about another man in her life though. It was the night before a certain vampire teacher's birthday, and she was out to have a bit of fun with that. She had stored many of the things in her office so that she would not be forced to zoom back and forth from her bungalow and the school; therefore, the only sign that there was anything going on in the castle would have been a bit of noise as she flew around Rafe's classroom decorating it. She recognized that many of the people who lived a great many years didn't do much to celebrate their birthdays. In fact, she was guilty of that herself, but still, she thought he would appreciate it.

She decorated the front of his desk with some spell work that caused green vines to grow all over the front of it. She then used flower seeds to grow flowers within the vines spelling out the words "Happy Birthday" in the center of them. She would leave a note upon his desk informing him that she would clean it all up later of course. She recognized leaving it for him to clean would not exactly be a nice way to celebrate the day.

Upon his desk she lay a special cupcake made for vampires. She then set up a table behind the desk (this was done in case he didn't want the students eating in the classroom) with a variety of fruits and vegetables upon it along with an assortment of regular cupcakes and fresh squeezed juices.

Underneath his desk there rested a box of fairy wine from France with a card signed with naught but "The Birthday Fairy".

As she finished, she flew back to gaze upon her work with a smile on her face. She nodded then flew off, being sure to lock the door behind her so as to leave no trace to give away the surprise. She of course would visit in the morning in order to see the look on his face. Perhaps she would even seek him out before he entered the school so that she could see his initial reaction. That would be fun.
