Sasha paid no mind to Wendy's eating habits and took a sip of his strawberry milkshake through a long, plastic straw. He tried to think of something he could share about his week that wouldn't be too controversial or cast him in a bad light. Despite his size and potential to make others fear him, Brendan always seemed quite pleasant and friendly to others. Van thought it was an act, but maybe it wasn't. Maybe he just hadn't discovered his true potential yet.
Either way, he didn't seem like a good audience for the spider story. Sasha didn't have much else.
"Um...not really." The half-demon speared a couple of fries and shyly nibbled them. Did lunch count as a class? It was by far the most enjoyable part of the school day. "Self defense, when Mr Hartley doesn't shout at me. Creature lore is okay too."
