The squirrel leaped from her shoulder chittering excitedly with joyous phrases as he sought to retrieve as many berries as would fit in his mouth. He would then begin a search for a new place nearer the bush to live. He also spoke a lot about impressing another squirrel with all that he would collect. Sumi couldn't help but giggle at him. "I'm glad you are happy," she told him, "I wish you luck with impressing the girls."
She then turned to face Clara again, smiling still. "He told me it was why he found this place for me to come to," she told the deer. She left out the part where she thought he would have sent her to another boarding school even if this hadn't happened though. She knew that since he was her father, she was to show her respect for him even when she was upset with him. "As for what it meant for me," she watched her little squirrel friend some more, "I do not know what he believes."
"I am not usually good with helping humans," she informed Clara, "I will try though."
