"I can't really talk too much about it now that I'm going to be going to testify," Alex said, "but I saw something and I got a photographic memory. I know what I saw and now I'm gonna go and testify about it." He remembered Haylie (who was now Hayden) told him to just let it go and move on. But Alex couldn't because it felt wrong to keep his mouth shut about what he saw. What was the point of having information that could help someone and not doing anything, leaving them vulnerable to get railroaded?
He smirked, " But I feel right about it. I wish I had said something sooner." Alex valued so much of what his friends said, but sometimes he had to do what his gut told him was right. He nodded, "You seem . . . different. You doing okay?"
