Felicity and Gil
"A truce is better than nothing," Gilderoi pointed out. "And the Cold War lasted quite long." A truce was, in fact, a better alternative to an out and out war. Perhaps there was something uneasy about it, but Felicity was a fool if she thought there would not be anything uneasy about whatever alliance they struck.
Gil was briefly startled by the intimacy of the gesture, but he eventually put an arm around her. He inhaled her scent and he supposed she smelled nice.
"Maybe," he said, pensively. There was a brief moment of quiet, simply the two of them dancing, and then Gil retreated. "Would you care for another refreshment?"
