Fen and Alex
"I am," Alex said with self-confidence. The only people who ever put his music down were people who didn't like that sort of music to start. They were the toughest crowd and him being who he was probably didn't help their interest in his music much. While he was starting to question if being a signed DJ was really his future, he still entertained the thought that they'd hear a song on the radio like it, and then feel appalled when they realized it was by him.
Alex made a face of confusion that his mask only half-hid. "Uh, yeah, I did," he said, not trying to sound rude because he still had a resting bitch face that people complained about. She was homeschooled? "That explains why you're not talking like all the other chicks here." Homeschooled people had a reputation for being weird, and she was definitely different but he had yet to determined if she was weird.
Now his mind was starting to go back to that conversation his teachers heard. Maybe that's why Davian thought of her. She was a Standard and Ladon and off, but hey, she was homeschooled. Somehow that explained everything. "Well, you got more to go too. I prefer parties. Sure the decorations aren't as fancy as this stuff, but the music is notably better and there are no teachers. Anything is better without the teachers."
