Pavel and Galad (Guest staring Felicty?) - About a half hour in
Felicity turned to Galad from where she was admiring a fountain and then directed her attention to where he was looking. Ah, the little fairy was at work. That's when she felt it. The part of her brain connecting the sight of him with attraction. Now that she wasn't just glancing in his direction but actually looking at him. Yes, Pavel was attractive but she took a quick look at Galad, and that seemed to orient her. Pavel may have magic and looks on his side but Galad . . . he was strong and wicked smart and . . . wicked.
She didn't expect the fairy to make his way toward her after his success, and she almost wished he didn't get away with it. How fantastic would it have been to see Mr. Kaden's face when he realized his doe-eyed Ladon was spiking the punch! Alas, such things didn't not transpire.
With her own upnch in her hand, she gave Pavel a small toast, "Congratulations. You're—" she had to think about her words carefully because she was going to say he wasn't too bad for a fairy, but she couldn't do that. Diplomacy. Instead she went with "—full of surprises."
