Felicity and Gil
It had been an impulse, approaching Felicity while pretending to be his brother. He had figured that she would see right through to him, but when she didn't, well... He'd had to change tactics. Do some rapid-fire thinking on his feet.
Fortunately, Gilderoi was amazing at thinking on his feet.
"I imagine I'm not," Gil said after a moment of reflection, deciding that the game would be that he would not tell an outright lie. "But I did need a break from the being fawned over. It's one of those things - you'll never imagine growing tired off, and yet..."
Gilderoi grinned sharkishly and in that moment, he really did look like his brother. The only thing that gave him away was his eye color: glamoring those would be the same as telling a lie. "I can't imagine why nobody else has stolen you away. Perhaps all the theater-students that have a crush on you are too chicken too ask."
