Cress and Micah: Near the water
Cressida wore more casual clothing and a warming amulet. She made sure students were well attended with warmth and food and fresh towels, and the magic needed to keep things warm was in place and strong. She did stop occasionally to enjoy the view of Micah emerging from the water, completely soaked and glistening. The water was cold but made him look more alive. He was smiling and she had to have a student occasionally take her attention by saying her new a couple more times to stop her from watching.
"You need to get somewhere warm," she said to Micah, tossing him the towel. She learned her lesson not to get too close to the water. Micah dragged her in a few years before, and it had set some events into play. Such as the great spider apocalypse that students still talked about. Soon it would turn into a local legend.
She eyed him, "At least warmer until later." She said that bit softer so only those with hypersensitive hearing could catch, but even then, they were mostly chatting with their friends.
