Katherine and Open
Katherine somewhat hated stripping down lately. She was always skinny, but at least before she actually had some muscle on her. Now she felt like she simply looked like skin and bones. She at least was better than she was a month ago when she came out of the coma, but still she felt incredible self conscious in her bikini at the moment, and to top it off it was freezing. She supposed that was why it was called the polar bear dive, but she could visibly see her body shaking as she approached the lake. She had actually considered just jumping in fully dressed; however, she had a slight fear of having trouble moving once she got in if she did that. So there she was in a black bikini with white polka dots, shaking, and probably looking way too skinny to exist.
She stepped forward, took a deep breath in and leaped into the water. The sharp cold pain caused her to forget about absolutely all of her other concerns as she swam swiftly back to the surface and to the edge to get out. "Oh my God that's f-f-f-freezing!" she shouted as she bolted to the warm area. She wrapped her towel around her body and hugged her knees to her chest as she continued shivering. "If I h-h-have any m-m-m-more I think I m-might just try p-p-payin out of them," she said to no one in particular.
