Sasha & Open
Tanek's party was very different than the previous one he'd been to. No guest list, no Korean chef, no girl singing on her own in an ambient room; just teenagers everywhere, drinking and dancing and vomiting in the bushes as music he didn't know blared through the trees.
Human culture was super weird.
Seeing as it was rather warm, Sasha had taken off his coat so that his green hoodie was visible. He still didn't get why he had to wear it or what the significance was, but he'd given up on pursuing that for now, at least with Tanek. Maybe he'd ask one of the teachers when classes started again. Still, the green string lights were pretty.
For a while, the half-demon simply observed the chaos. People drank shots and fell over, or drank shots and danced and fell over, or went in pairs away from the party and into the darkness of the woods beyond. At some point Sasha was handed a bottle of beer, which he kept hold of as he was invited into a circle to play a game called I've Never. It was a good idea he supposed, but probably better with a different group of people; so many of them had experimented with sex and drugs but hadn't been arrested, or even in a real fight? Where had they grown up, a porn set?!
Bored, Sasha had stepped away from the game and perched on a seat near the maintenance building to finish his beer.
