Valentin wasn't much of a fan of sports. As a human, he'd avoided them, always getting out of his P.E. classes. Here at Saint M's, he did take their equivalent of gym, but mostly because it helped him get his newfound strength under control.
Being a vampire had its upsides. His strength had grown, and he could actually run these days. Before, he'd been a skinny little bitch, but now he was lean. He'd filled out. That was cool. Too bad he had to wear sunglasses, because even the weak sunlight of spring irritated his eyes.
After gym, Valentin had showered and now, decked out in his jeans and his trademark leather jacket, he went by the sports field, his eyes catching Rob playing around with a very tiny student. Had the Academy admitted a dwarf? Valentin trotted over and grinned. "They keep making them smaller every year, don't they?"
