Thread: The Glorious War of Sibling Rivalry
WHO: Wendy Golightly, Ryuuko Hartley and (eventually)(probably)(realistically) Blake Hartley
WHERE: Hartley household
WHEN: Wednesday afternoon
She had called him baka again. Idiot. Fool. He had warned her not to. Very well. He was not the only one who would make good on his threats. Wendy stalked through the landing of the small house he shared with Blake and Ryuuko and opened the door to her room. She was not there.
Not only had she called him an idiot, he also suspected she had been in his room. One of the books he had lend from the library was missing. Nobody else could have taken it and it was colorful. She liked colors.
He stood on the threshold of her room. But this was more about the insult. She dared make him feel small. He did not take kindly to that. He was no fool. He would not break the rules. He would not take from her. He would not enter her room.
The beady eyes of the plushies stared back at him. He grinned and reached out. The temperature in the room dropped, dropped, dropped and an eerie wind started rattling at the windows. White flakes flurried into the room, covering the toy animals in a thick layer of cold, white snow. Not all of them, but more than enough.
He grinned. The snow had been piled on thick and, considering he had chased all warmth from the room, it would take a while before it would melt. She would receive his message.
He whistled – which sounded like the tuneless howling of the winter wind – as he padded downstairs to make his homework on the wooden kitchen table.
