Thread: Valentine's Amongst Friends WHO: Thierry Gravois and Sara Martin WHEN: Valentine's Day, duh WHERE: Duke's Diner
Thierry arrived at Pegasus house dressed in a nice pair of slacks and a button-up shirt. His hair combed, his beard trimmed, and he even managed to get a couple of daisies for Sara too. They were going out as friends, but he still wanted her to have the Valentine's experience. Sara was a pretty girl and a good one too. She was friendly to pretty much everyone, and she'd been a good friend to him. He felt like he should let her have a Valentine's Day she deserved. So he dressed nice and made sure to behave in a gentlemanly manner. He held the door for her when they got to his truck and helped her in. He'd cleaned it up a bit, too.
They made their way to Duke's Diner, and since he worked there, he got permission to set aside a part of the restaurant to be their dinner. A nice red tablecloth, a candle, nice dishes, and well-prepared food. It was still diner food, but it had little things added to it. Garnish or just a change in presentation. Over dinner they talked and talked about a lot of things. School, their futures, and, of course, their mystery. They traded theories as to what might have happened and where they could search for more clues. Overall, it was a pleasant dinner.
The two headed outside into the chilly evening. Maine had yet to start warming up completely, and the evening would dip into the low teens. Thierry shivered, "Oooeee, 'dis is the sort of cold 'dat remind you that you still alive, non? Why don't you wait inside until I get 'de car?" Even though she was a were and she grew up in Canada, he still didn't want to stick her out in the cold if she didn't have to be.
