"I would agree with you. Killing doesn't make anyone better. It would be nice if we could just live in a world without it, no?" Alicia replied.
"Fair enough." Alicia agreed.
"That is true. We protect our young because we don't think they are ready. But we also protect them so they can come into their own in a safe environment. To experience life and develop before going out into the world." Alicia replied.
Ryuuko's question made Alicia smile.
"Well I know all sorts of things. I know alot of history, US, Australian and world history in general. I know calculus and trigonometry. I know lots of magic, potion making. I know how to make amazing brownies. But that is sort of my point. If knowledge alone defined one's age, I would be much older. But I'm not. I'm a teenager. Coming into my own in life." Alicia answered. "A better definition of one's age would be life experiences, wouldn't you agree?" she asked. "Don't rush so much to grow up." she added. "All the same, just because you are young, doesn't mean people should be disrespectful towards you. You are smarter than many at this school." she agreed.
