"He thinks because he has killed people before he took a human form he is somehow greater," Ryuuko said, "And he believes one small error somehow makes him right, even though he is riddled with illogical reasoning." Ryuuko was not so logical herself, but there was a smugness in the way Wendy spoke. Then he acted like he just wanted to know and she refused to believe his sincerity anymore. Until he learned to speak to her respectfully, he would receive none from her.
She shook her head, "But I learn faster than humans do. It is not the same, Alicia-chan. I have this small form, but I know much more than others of my appearance's age do and probably more than other students here. They waste their time with being lazy and I have already surpassed them." It wasn't necessarily true that she was smarter than the other students, but Ryuuko did learn quickly. It was a natural trait of dragons to be able to absorb and process information quickly. Ashton may not have been the most socially graceful, but he was brilliant.
