"Yes," Ryuuko responded, because she wasn't going to hand it over just yet. She listened as Alicia explained how there was no intention of disrespect. But Ryuuko only sighed, "So we must tolerate the poor image." It was something that she was going to have difficulty with. It wasn't hard for Ryuuko to adopt the pride of a dragon. As much as she saw Blake as her "mother," she did know that she had another type of "mother" out here, but she didn't feel the connection to her. Ryu did look quite a bit like her though, and the dragon had been majestic and awe-inspiring.
She paused as the second question came up, and Ryu said, "The new student, Wendy. He will learn eventually he is not the great predator he thinks he is." No, definitely not. Ryu liked to think she was stronger, but she also knew that her kind were hunted. There was a hunter for everything and everyone.
"They do not mean it, but they look at this form and see it only as a child," Ryu said, "I am as old or older than others here."
