Kana had gotten word from her mother who said she would send the headmaster her written permission, so she was looking around for Sara and Jae to tell them. She was excited for many reasons about the news. One of those reasons was simply the fact that it had been ages since she had been back to New York to see her brother. Another was the fact she would be able to be there with her best friends, her sisters, and she would actually get to experience the city the way it was meant to be experienced.
She wore a spaghetti strap black top paired with a blood red plaid skirt that fell short of her knees. Most people would think her crazy for dressing like that in the winter time, but she didn't really think about that while she was at the school. If she had to go to the town for any reason she had a few things she could add to it to make sure she didn't stand out. Right now she was simply looking for her friends though, so she didn't really see the point of pretending like the cold bothered her.
She looked around the music building for a bit, figuring that it was the best place to look for the both of them seeing as they were both putting in a lot more practice lately so that they were at their best for the auditions. When she heard the music coming from the dance room she actually thought it was a professional recording at first. She moved quietly, not wanting to disrupt someone practicing, and noticed it was Alicia. She had of course heard Alicia play before as they were both in Kitsune, so she knew that the girl was incredible already. Still, you can't just hear someone playing incredibly and not want to continue listening.
Kana leaned against the door frame as she watched, hoping that she wasn't disturbing the girl, and listened until the end of the song. It was only then that she spoke. "That was wonderful," she complimented with a smile.
