She willed herself to stop causing the two illusions of herself to continuously beat the illusion of her sire when Alex nearly broke the illusion by moving suddenly. She needed to keep a level and clear mind while she did this, or at least that was what her teacher had been teaching her.
"Sorry," she said as one of the illusions of herself vanished as well as her sire.
She composed her thoughts to allow for the next bit of the story to be clear. "He can manipulate people's thoughts with suggestions," she explained, "Apparently all he had to do was speak." Her illusion self turned towards the building, "With continued effort he can fully manipulate you, and that's what he had been doing to Caitlin until I got there." An image of Caitlin appeared, but not as the girl that Alex would have remembered. She appeared as Fred had fallen in love with her. Tanned skinned and smiling with a purple bikini top and blue jeans. "After he managed to get me, he became careless with his control over her, and that cost him." The image of Caitlin vanished and the building was set ablaze.
"She started that while I was on an errand," her illusion explained, "She locked them both inside and threw the key away so that even if he tried to get her to open the doors she couldn't."
It was at this point her tears overpowered her and the illusion broke as she could no longer keep eye contact with him. Her sobs were silent and she turned away to hide her face.
