"It's likely the latter," Cressida said, "We did lose an elf student before because of responsibility to their culture." She didn't know much about Lilie Hoch, other than she was a Kitsune, an incorrigible flirt, and she clearly didn't care for Thérèse, but anyone who knew enough about elves understood they didn't like fairies. Period. But she had departed from the school a year earlier than she would've graduated. Apparently she was the queen with the death of the last Erlkonig. Too much responsibility placed on the young who were so grossly unprepared.
She said, "Will detention really fix it? Unless you feel like it will. I grounded Leon for months and he . . . well, he was Leon. He was unhappy and annoyed but I think I kept it in place more as a show of authority." She didn't regret it though. Leon typically didn't act so volatile or angry, and in a show of teenage rebellion, she treated him like the child he was acting like. She hadn't enjoyed it though.
"Not to say you shouldn't give him detention, but maybe rethink detention."
