Narrative: Blackout WHO: Jae Song WHEN: Dec. 21, evening to night WHERE: Hydra Dorm / Forest
Jae set aside her sheet music. With her practicing done, she could get some sleep before waking up to finish again. Kumiho only needed four hours of sleep, and anyone that knew Jae knew she wasn't someone who slept in. It's likely that whatever sleep Jae didn't need, Davian claimed for his own. Before going to sleep though, she'd go take a shower. Hydra students didn't live according to anyone's schedule but their own. Jae went and gathered her shower items together in the small carrier. She took her bathroom as well, and a small bag to put her clothes in. Jae closed the bedroom door behind her and made her way to the bathroom.
The shower was quick but felt nice. Between the SAT and then the ACT and preparing for the the usual tests at the end of the first term, whilst practicing a new piece of music to use for her Juilliard audition, Jae was exhausted and so the warm water hitting her skin was welcome. She took a little longer than she typically did with the shower before exiting, and noting that her hair was gradually becoming darker again. Her roots more prominent than before. She contemplated just dying the rest of her hair black to match them, but she also entertained the idea of just touching up the roots and keeping with the blond. She'd gotten use to it by now.
She mused a bit in the shower, still grateful and happy at her overcoming her addiction. It wasn't a complete recovery, but enough that Jae felt confident that she could live among humans without posing an unintentional threat. It was a big step for Jae, and she'd accomplished what she'd arrived at the school to complete in the first place. This had caused a lot of introspection on Jae's part, and she realized how far she'd come along since arriving at the school.
Jae returned to her room and began preparing for bed, following her usual routine. However, as Jae walked toward her bed, gray filled her vision, started from the edges until it clouded her eyes and then everything went black.

Cold. Wet. Water.
Jae's eyes flickered open. Her mind processed through the other senses while her eyes adjusted.
She could smell dirt, stone, dried leaves, bark—forest. She was in the forest?
But skin felt wet, but not from clothing soaked against skin. Her hand reached up to touch her stomach, not feeling the nightshirt but only her bare skin. Jae's eyes finally focused and the pupils dilated wide. Whatever light there was poured in and she saw what her other senses already confirmed.
She was in the forest, lying next to the creek, and completely naked. Jae pushed a hand onto the moist earth of the creek's short and lifted herself to sit. Her head throbbed but that was it. She closed her eyes tight to push back the pain before opening them again and then inspected herself.
Weird.
Why was she out here? How did she even come here? Why was she naked?
Jae rose to her feet immediately, steadying herself and then wrapping her arms around her waist. She needed to get back to school and hopefully without the notice of anyone else. It was a break, so she might not be noticed as she typically would. Or perhaps the fewer people there may cause them to notice.
Either way, she had to hurry back and then maybe figure out what happened.
