Imani's eyes became downcast as Dana began to speak, and the more the other girl said the more Imani held onto her. hugging her close, resting her cheek against tthe other girl's hair. Just... listening. Imani regretted she could not tell Dana the things she knew. Could not explain to her that Sorin wasn't lying, that he was just... away for now. That she was working on getting him back.
"I know something is different. We just... we have to hold on." Imani's eyes closed as she came as close to telling the truth as she could allow herself to. "My brother is kind and true. You will see."
