Fred remained in the music room after class. She had only been back for a couple of days. She had agreed to return to classes, but still wasn't really talking to people much. Lucky for her most people recognize when she was in a foul mood and tended to leave her alone when they saw it. Many people actually feared her more when she looked as though she were in a bad mood. She was pretty well known for taking her anger out especially in her combat classes.
She was known for converting her sorrow into something else whether it be lust or anger; however, these days she simply just felt useless. She couldn't save her friend, her first love, nor could she save herself. She had been completely helpless during her time with him. She shouldn't have been caught so off guard. She was an idiot again, and again someone paid for her stupidity with their life. Why hadn't Caitlin just fled when she realized she was free?
Her jeans were full of holes, and her shirt, which featured The Ramones, hung limp over her body. She hadn't bothered with showering much. She stayed in the backs of classes and didn't do much to call attention to herself. Even working on cars didn't really help her mood lately. She stayed behind after class let out so she could play a little on the piano. The notes flowed together well enough, but the chords were slow and somber as her music was reflecting her mood.
Her mind dwelled on memories of Caitlin as she played. She ignored the footsteps that approached figuring whoever it was wouldn't bother her.
