Dock: Nick and Dana
Nothing happened? But it seemed like a good reason for things being different. For Sorin wanting to change things. For Sorin . . . Dana now sat more confused than before. She thought she had an answer. She reached out, touching his arm with a caress, "You know if anything sad happens, you can speak with me. I may not always have something to share, but I am your friend."
The two had often been close, sharing in so much. Now she felt a strange distance from him. She'd noticed the changes in Sorin and since others confirmed to her their notings too, she was becoming more and more aware of the little differences. Things she might not have noticed so much before.
She leaned her head down to rest on his arm, feeling the warmth radiating off of it. Dana closed her eyes, trying to just think that maybe there was something Sorin kept from her for the same reasons Leon had not told her about James. Maybe he was trying to protect her.
