Dock: Nick and Dana
Nick nodded along, an indication that he was listening and that he was agreeing that Leon would teach her math. Truth be told, he didn't remember much about Leon except the tattoos. Some of Sorin's memories could be spotty at times. Other times they were crystal clear, like they were his own experiences.
When Dana's tone changed, Neculai shielded his eyes from the sun and looked at her. "Hm? No. Nothing happened. We've just both been busy."
He shifted up to his feet, uncomfortable to be talking about Andrei, like the vampire could appear out of thin air - mist form! That was Leon's power, Nick just remembered - beside him on the dock. He had memories of Andrei from Sorin. The older vampire was keen in all things Sorin. Nick shivered, remembering Sorin's memories. On the one hand, Nick wanted to see Andrei. On the other, it would be a terrible idea.
"Him with college, me with school here. You know." Nick didn't immediately realize his blunder. Andrei wasn't taking college classes, having not been accepted at Harvard like his fangling. The vampire was proud of his mechanic work. Nick blinked and corrected himself. "The college cars, I mean. College kids and their cars."
