Kitsune House (Paintball): Galad & Felicity
It being the first Halloween at St. Margaret's and in the United States, Felicity decided to explore what each offered. Before she'd heard about Halloween at the school from Charlotte, but now she was there and experiencing it for herself. She tried to ignore the specific memories that Charlotte had there and ended up sharing in emails. She started off at Pegasus house and spoke with a number of the spirits there. They'd been interesting, and she met a few who commented that she looked like someone else. Felicity brushed those comments off quickly, knowing to whom they referred.
After that she'd gone to investigate Kitsune house, and was pleased to see movies set up but then displeased at the selection they'd chosen. No Suspiria? Eraserhead? Nosferatu? Bloody hell. But Galad had distracted her from her momentary anger at the D-movies that composed most of the list with the prospect of paintball. Sure, she was wearing a dress with hair styled and quaffed perfectly to imitate the look of Vesper Lynd from Casino Royale but this sounded like fun. At first she thought it was going to be competition, and she'd do her best only to have Galad outwit and beat her to the punch again, but the two ended up on the same team against a couple of weres from Ladon house.
"It's a pity we can't shoot their noses," she commented to Galad in Norwegian, "I would've loved to see their faces when we knocked out one of their chief advantages to reaction." Weres were hunters in a difference sense though, and sure, their reflexes were fast and they'd make difficult targets, Galad and Felicity were hunters. It was part of being an elf. They didn't have bows or daggers, but they had skill naturally that training refined.
They'd been given uniforms to wear so not to ruin their costumes, but she still wore her earrings and glamoured dark hair down. Taking the paintball gun into her hand, she studied the weight of it, her mind calculating how much it would hinder her and how she could work around it. "I guess we'll have our own fox hunt tonight." Her eyes studied a girl with red hair and eyes that flashed amber of a fox.
