Ladon Party: Alex and Tin
"Zedd or Aoki? So, you want, like, a one-word name? Lex-Ji? Lex-G? Those sounds sort of like supporting underwear." While Valentin loved music, he was more at home in the world of lyrics: showtunes and evergreens, modern pop like Adele, Sia and the Script. Electronic music was, despite his city of origin, not his forte. As such, he completely misunderstood what Alex meant.
"I can see it now," Valentin said, his hand streaking through the air, "your name, in big white letters on some flier for, like, Coachella or Mauerpop or some other big festival. You'll be the main event. And I'll be in the audience, being all: 'Yeah, I knew that guy when he was still small, scrawny and Asian." Valentin's eyes widened. "Oh my God, you could get your own clothing line. Like Pharell."
