Dining With Ghosts: Jae and Tanek
Vixey and Kana had gone off to check out the Ladon party, and Jae lingered behind, somewhat curious about the ghosts. It was her final year, and seeing them rise from the grave as they did, it was . . . surprising. She respected them though, showing reverence to them and the respect the dead deserved. She'd finished a conversation with the ghost of a young woman, and now sat, sort of letting her feelings soak in. That is until she was sort of dragged away from that by the scent of grease, spice, and human. The voice followed.
"I'm fine, thank you," Jae said in response. To most others, Tanek looked like a mess. To Jae? He looked like he was prepping himself to be a tasty meal. And without any sort of connotation involved. He literally was basting himself with grease and sauce. Jae stared for a moment at him, thinking of what else to say.
"Is there any left? You look like you ate most of it," she attempted to be good-natured about it and ignore how nice it would be to sink her teeth into his soft and vulnerable flesh.
