Galad could see that the wound was healing and no longer impaired the boy. The elf was fascinated, but not in a morbid way, as one might think. Galad did laugh at the assumption Tanek made that he could get close enough to damage him. But of course he was pretty.
With a sigh, Galad hopped to his feet and faced the human. The knife as it was presented was a threat by even vague untrained human standards, but Galad didn't mind. He caught Tanek's wrist and simply twisted it sharply to break the bone and caught his knife when it fell. Then the elf calmly wiped the blood off on Tanek's ridiculous shirt.
"No. I believe you. Now, this has been fun, but I should be going."
