At least he wasn't a complete Philistine. "Jacobean is a good place to start. I performed as The Duchess before in Webster's Duchess of Malfi, and took on the role of Rosalind in As You Like It. But I enjoy Euripides quite a bit. I attended an all-girls school but we did what we could. I guess it was a bit of a reversal than what was common in Shakespeare's time. All actors were female instead of male." A hint of a smile at her own amusement.
She glanced at him as he spoke about what limitations vampirism offered. Perhaps that might be the case for elves, but most people didn't seem to notice or they just didn't care. Her own grandparents looked like they could be her parents, and her great grandparents were alive and well. Same went for her great great grandparents. It was no wonder the elves were still so steeped in elven traditions.
"Have your glory on the stage, fade away, reinvent yourself, and find your way back," she offered, "You wouldn't be the first to do so." Plenty of races with lengthy lifespans and youthful features did that. As the question now turned on her, she sort of laughed.
"Meryl Streep is pint sized compared to what I want to do," Felicity informed, "I mean, she's not without talent, that's for damn sure. But I don't want to just act, love. I'm talking about becoming the next Orson Welles or Charlie Chaplin. Acting, write, direct. The whole package. I don't want to limit myself to just one thing."
