Thread: Scrimmage WHO: Mickey, Ashton, mentions of Trent, and OPEN WHERE: Sports field WHEN: Afternoon, after classes
Ashton was confident that such a simple, silly looking game would be in his favor, regardless of not knowing any of the rules or the finer points of soccer or having ever played any sport before. He didn't think for a moment that he might lose against Mickey. There was no chance he was going to let the Djinn get away with beating him in anything, especially not a physical competition. Since arriving, he'd not gotten along with Mickey for many reasons, the two of them always in some kind of competition, exchanging snide remarks and generally not getting along in their classes or listening when the teacher told them to quit - even serving detention together because of it. This was different, though. This was a chance to get physical with Mickey in a way that wouldn't land him in detention. And maybe it would show the other boy once and for all that he's not as funny or charming or even likable as he thinks he is. The Djinn just grated on Ashton's nerves.
So at the designated time, Ashton arrived at the field with Trent, having brought his human to witness the downfall of Mickey. Whether he knew what he was doing or not, it didn't matter to Ashton. He was just tired of this guy.
