Unwinding after a long week
Who: Thérèse and Blake
When: Friday Evening
Where: The Dockyard
Warning: Thérèse is not in the best of moods
Thérèse hadn't really thought about how difficult it would be to return to the school after having her heart ripped out. She didn't think it would be so difficult, but with Ambriel going emotionally numb and Davian reminding her of Dallas in the way that he spoke. The whole saying that he won't give up while at the same time continuing to say how it was impossible. She wanted to help him, but how was she supposed to talk to someone about love when she herself was having a great deal of trouble believing in it.
She wore a sleeveless forest green dress and black stockings as she sat alone with her third glass of wine. This wasn't something she used to do, but she didn't really have anyone at the moment. Most of her friends were across the ocean in Europe, and the ones that were here were all busy with matters that were far more important than her. Micah was with Cressida who was dealing with a far greater grief than her own. She was afraid that she had insulted Jack, and she had drinks with Rafe last weekend. Plus she was feeling like everything she tried to do with people lately was just backfiring. Her mind being so scattered was just not being helpful at all.
Her notebook lay open on the table in front of her with a few pages ripped out and tossed to the side in crumpled messes. She took another sip of her wine getting closer to finishing off a third glass. "What is wrong with me?" she whispered to herself in her native language.
