Olivia was thankful for even the slightest encouragement from a fellow witch. Other witches tended to make their abilities look so easy, and Olivia for the life of her just couldn't get it down. She'd left plenty of plants in similar states of disarray in the name of practice and she wondered if she'd ever really learn.
"Well, thank you," Olivia said, letting her smile show as Sorin touched her arm. She appreciated his candor and felt like he might at least understand her struggle with successfully doing magic. "Do you know anything about nature magic?" Olivia asked, trying to remember exactly what kind of abilities Sorin had. As she asked, she bent back down touched the plant, a single leaf lifting from the ground and returning to a healthy color. "Look at that!" Olivia said suddenly with a hint of excitement. "But I don't even know how I did it! All I did was touch it."
