"You will?" Jae asked and the nodded, "Well, it's probably better this way. Just some general laws. You have to be eighteen to sign the marriage license on your own or to get married. But there's a way around it. A legal way." She added the last part, more than aware of the very law-abiding person that Ambriel was. She fished the mostly finished paperwork from the folder pocket and then laid it before him. She pointed to the area where signatures were required.
"Davian won't be eighteen until October, but if you have your guardians sign it, or at least his, then it should be fine," she said, "We'll need that immediately so the courts can process it. I know the two of you want the wedding next month, so this would help make that happen. Otherwise, we'd have to wait for October. Unless you're younger than Davian?"
