"Not anyone being naked," Tanek said, "I was talking about you." His voice has grown flatter and a bit more distant, as he was slipping into that focused state that he rarely had. Drawing was one of the few things that could calm Tanek down, too much of a live wire otherwise. He did make sure to give Bayani a small smile, to show he understood Bayani had been making a joke. Like the vampire, Tanek had kept to himself in Anton castle, but that was mostly because he was forced to: Tanek had spent a lot of time doped out of his mind or being experimented upon.
The Bayani on his page was taking shape, the outlines becoming more solid. It was time for the details, the specific things that made Bayani Bayani. The roughness of the eyebrows, the slant of his mouth, the darkness of his eyes... Tanek nodded, listening carefully despite not seeming to. "That would be interesting," he said. "Though decapitation doesn't take. They tried it." Tanek assumed Bayani knew who they were.
Tanek's hand paused and he gave Bayani an appraising look. "A girlfriend? Really?" He tried to mask his surprise, but didn't fail entirely. It sounded so... healthy.
