"No, of course not," Romina said with a smile, "You care about your students. Victoria has said many times that you are approachable, like a father. It's good that she has that here. When she became a vampire, she had to leave her family behind." And her family meant a lot to her. Even now with them in still dealing with the turmoil of a divorce, a witch for a daughter (that they were choosing to ignore), and everything else, Victoria could at least have someone here who was going to act like a dad for her until she was really ready to be completely independent.
Romina said, "It wasn't a request out of necessity. Not one to play watchful parent of two fanglngs, at least." She wasn't going to have to play lawyer or advocate to get Bayani with herself and Victoria in New York. She assured him, "Should anything happen, I'll let you know immediately." Romina however decided to try again.
"I realize that I gave you my name, but I never asked for yours. Victoria just calls you Sr. Kaden, but she's still a teenager," she said, "I should probably get your phone number too, just in case."
