It was a peaceful afternoon for Blake as he took a break from setting up his office to walk around outside for some fresh air. So far, none of the staffers or the students had tried to off him. Blake would count that as a win, although he remained vigilant and on guard at all times. It wasn't anything new for him. Blake had lived his life on guard. So he was first to notice Cressida crossing the courtyard with her rolling suitcase and obvious recently returned air before she could spot him. Blake smiled to himself and angled his walk to intercept her.
"Professor, hello. Beautiful afternoon, isn't it?" Blake and Cressida had had many a conversation before during Ashton's three years as a resident here, and none of their talks had come out favorably for Blake. Despite the fact that Blake had literally gone to the edge of the world to find something that would save the life of one of her students, Blake had no reason to doubt that she had been glad to see him turn his back and leave the campus when Barclay was well again. And now, he was back, and here to stay. Time to try for a truce.
