Thread: Cooks in the Kitchen WHO: Jae Song and Roland Archer WHEN: July 13, afternoon WHERE: Home Economics Room
Jae's attempt to try new things led her to take Mr. Kaden's summer cooking course. Her main diet consisted of meat because she was carnivorous. It was part of her nature, and so she couldn't survive on vegetables alone. In fact, other foods played a small role in her eating habits. Some of them were tasty though, and she was looking at learning Western dishes. Mr. Kaden's class moved past the basics of bread, but Jae still wanted to prefect it. She liked to make sure she was doing things right every time, and it was nice of Roland to join her in this endeavor.
"How is your dough coming along?" she asked Roland, looking over her shoulder to where the half-giant worked over his own dough. Jae tied her hair back into a low ponytail so it would stay out of her face and the hair would stay out of the food. She had on a simple green blouse with a pair of gray shorts and sandals, but she protected her clothing with one of the white aprons the school had available. She kneaded her dough once more before going to see how Roland was doing
Jae wasn't the social butterfly others were. She tried to put herself out there more often than before, and lately it'd been easier. Talking to Eunji, even if it wasn't for long ,had settled a lot of the inner turmoil Jae battled for a very long time. She smiled a little more often, and the burden wasn't so obvious now that it was absent, but there was something a little different about Jae.
She didn't peer over Roland's shoulder. Jae was five foot five inches, though maybe a little more since she grew a bit the past year or so. It still paled in comparison to Roland's towering form.
