Expensive, was all he noted about the clothing. He had no opinion on it otherwise. Bayani didn't have a particularly high opinion of rich privileged people, but his attitude on the matter was being held in check. There was no good reason to add another level of disdain when they were attempting to be civil. His skin had already crawled when James said something about his father's lawyers, and that suit only sold the point more for him. They were vastly different people. That didn't mean they needed to be enemies ... so far.
The smile was not returned, but his smiles were rare even to people who knew him well. Bayani was somewhat amused about the reference to Andrei's violence, because his anger could give Andrei's a run for its money when it was unleashed. "Whatever was happening there was between the three of you. I figured the better chance you had of resolving it then and there, the better long term for everyone." Nothing but the truth, since that was where he often reseted on. There were other factors, like his friendship with the two of them, but he really did think it was better to be resolved that way than bringing other students and teachers into it.
