James, Leon, Andrei, Bayani and open because this may get the ugliest
It all happened so fast. Bayani was a former witch, and a telekinetic at that. He knew very well that just because an attack wasn't visible, it still existed. Whatever James did was real and didn't need to be seen to understand that. But then he and Andrei were glaring at each other and Andrei was screaming. Bay's reaction was instant, but not faster than Leon, who felt it through their bond. His own instinct had been to break the two of them up, to break their gazes or whatever was causing this. Bayani was an instant behind him, but he hesitated and whipped his head around to check on Andrei first. Hearing his lover and friend scream like that was horrifying, he hoped never to hear it again.
But he wouldn't let that rage take him over. Not this time. Satisfied Andrei was not in immediate danger now, Bayani moved to Leon's side. He didn't stop him the first punch, or even the second, but he knew Leon. Who never liked to lose his head or let his emotions guide him. It was what separated the two of them most of the time, and now the shoe was on the other foot. "Leon," he said, and when that didn't help, he crouched down next to his friend. He didn't grab him or try to stop him physically, there was no violence that could be used against someone he cared about. Instead he reached out to touch Leon's shoulder, a strong clasp to try and shake him out of it. "Leon, you don't want this. Listen to me. You know this isn't what you want."
