James, Leon, Andrei, Bayani and open because this may get the ugliest
Bayani was wrapped up in enjoying his first dance with Victoria, but he'd noticed fairly quickly that Leon planned on bowing out entirely from the dance. He couldn't let that happen without at least saying thank you, and asking a few questions about future plans. He'd been a good friend so far, and Bay was starting to think those were harder to keep around than he thought. He'd been looking when he saw Andrei sneak off and blinked. Well, maybe he'd know where Leon was, and while they weren't on the steadiest of grounds, he still wanted to keep that connection to the older vampire too.
He followed behind but didn't run, a little confused, so he came up when whatever was already going on. Dark eyes took in Leon on his knees, something was wrong, and Andrei was violently holding on to James. Bayani glanced behind him to be sure no one else was coming so this could stay private, and he immediately went over to Leon's side. He didn't question at all why Andrei was doing that. He trusted Andrei completely. If he was attacking Victoria's ex, it was justified. So James wasn't going to get any help from this corner.
"Leon?" he said softly, kneeling down next to his friend and putting a careful hand on his shoulder. "Are you alright?"
