Davian & Kane
Kane felt a flicker of sympathy for Davian, but they were demons, so sympathy wasn't something that was appreciated or trusted. Davian was treated horribly so he did something stupid, and he paid the price for it. He would pay for it more than just his wings, if his enemies found him. Soon Paxton would be back in Vegas and able to protect his brother in his own way there. He doubted Davian was going to have a long life though. Demons did have a way of rushing to their doom sooner or later, and there were plenty of people who would like to send the sloth demon his doom now. Maybe he would beat the odds. Either way, it was none of Kane's business, and he planned on keeping it that way.
His smile was rather sweet though, in its own way, and Kane found himself smiling easily back at it. "I doubt either of you would keep it a secret if you were already married. You're both eighteen, aren't you? That'll cut out some legal red tape if so. Unless you were thinking of the ceremony and not the paperwork." Kane knew many things about marriages, mostly because in Vegas it was a common joke and problem, sudden weddings or unwanted ones. Plus his married lovers. Always a problem. "I think you should go all out for it. It's not every day a demon marries an angel."
